Eccelsa Aviation's story has been a long undertaking in the making ever since 1963, when the airport of Olbia Vena Fiorita welcomed its first private flight. A rich heritage that has seen the birth and rise of Italy's first and biggest private airline. And the evolution of ground handling into a specialised activity catering to private and business flights, making sure your connection runs as safe and comfortable as possible.
Handling Services
Aircraft handling provided in OLB/LIEO includes, but is not limited to:
- Control, supervision and physical assistance of the boarding/deboarding of passengers
- Control, supervision and physical assistance of the loading/unloading of luggage and other materials
- Parking
- Assurance of constant safety conditions of all operations
- Assistance in the coordination of refuelling
- Basic technical assistance
- Slot coordination (where applicable)
Please be informed that Very Light Aircraft (VLA) with a maximum take-off weight lower than 600KG are restricted from using Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport.

Eccelsa Avation's extra-handling services include, but are not limited to:
- In-flight catering
- Laundry service & express laundry
- Hotel reservation
- Hotel transfer
- Car rental
- Organization of tours and excursions with guide (optional)
- Security surveillance of the aircraft 24h a day with dedicated guard(s)
- Lavatory service
- Potable water
- Ground Power Unit (GPU)
- Air Starter Unit (ASU)
- Air Conditioner
- De-icing
- Internal/External cleaning
Handling Charges

Eccelsa Aviation supports your passion for flying: enjoy a 50% reduction of land/take-off fees if flying an aircraft with a MTOW of 4 tons or below (as specified in the landing fees leaflet).
Handling charges can be settled for any amount via Amex, Visa or Master Card while cash payments are restricted by Italian Law to a maximum of Euro 4.999,99
For Payment via Credit please send your application to our Administration Department at: clienti@geasar.it - please note you will be required to make a bank deposit as guarantee.
Handling at Olbia Airport is mandatory.
