FAQ Can I travel to Sardinia?

NO

From 14 July 2020 passengers who are coming from or have transited in following countries in the 14 days prior to their travel to Italy are NOT allowed entry:

- Armenia, Bahrein, Bangladesh, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Kosovo, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Oman, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Serbia

 

YES

From 01 July 2020, passengers that have stayed in the countries below for 14 continous days prior to their entry in Italy can travel to Sardinia:

- EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Danemark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the Czech Republic);

- Schengen countries (non-EU states members of the Schengen agreement are: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland);

- United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;

- Andorra, Principality of Monaco;

- Republic of San Marino and Vatican State

 

YES, SPECIAL CONDITIONS APPLY

Passengers may travel for tourism to Italy also from following countries: 

- Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Republic of Korea, Romania, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay. In these cases, the reasons for travel do not need to be provided but a self-declarations and a 14 days self isolation after arrival is required.

Please note that if you are coming from any other country non included in the abovementioned lists, you may not currently travel to Sardinia for tourism.

You still may travel to Sardinia at anytime  for urgent work or health related reasons. Together with papers certifying these reasons, you need to fill out the form in the link here below.

MANDATORY COVID TEST

Please note from 13 August 2020 passengers coming from Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Malta, Spain and Romania need to have a negative Covid test carried out in the preceding 72 hours from their entry to Italy

 

 

 

SARDINIAN ORDINANCE 11 SEP 2020


From 14 September 2020 all passengers travelling to Sardinia are invited to undergo a Covid-19 test in the 48 hours preceding their travel.

However, if unable to undergo the test, when registering online it's possible to make oneself available to a possible test by the Health Authorities within two days from arrival.

Please note this Covid test is not mandatory.
